Obituary of Rosalyn Peper

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Rosalyn Peper, who peacefully left us at the age of 92. A woman of grace, kindness, and wisdom, she lived her life savoring the simple joys.

Rosalyn had a deep love for gardening, finding peace in tending to her flowers and plants. She also found great fulfillment in teaching piano, sharing her love of music with students from all over the world. She cherished the connections she made with her students, always eager to hear their stories and learn about their backgrounds. In the end, they became more than pupils and many she counted as members of her extended family.

Every day, regardless of the weather, Rosalyn always made a point of getting out for a walk, greeting strangers with a warm smile and friendly conversation. She never rushed through life, always taking the time to appreciate the small moments and savoring the beauty of the world around her.

Her life was one of simplicity, contentment and her heart was open to all. Rosalyn taught us all the value of kindness, patience, and taking time to enjoy the present moment.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and students.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.  with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A private family interment will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waterloo.
