Obituary of Mark Clifford Dahmer

Mark passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital – Freeport Campus, Kitchener, ON, Monday, March 24, 2025, at the age of 73. He lost his battle with mantle cell lymphoma cancer after courageously fighting for three years.

He will be deeply missed and always loved by his family. Beloved husband of Karen and loving father of Chris, Andrew (Jessica), and Charles; cherished gramps to Tayah and Lexi. Survived by his brother Murray.

Predeceased by his daughter Melanie (stillborn); father, Douglas Dahmer; mother Gladys; and his brother Richard (in infancy).

Mark was proud of his 35-year career at the City of Kitchener Finance Department, where he was the only male with a team of female coworkers. After retiring, Mark had more time to play World of Warcraft. He enjoyed going for long daily walks. Mark also had a special talent for untying knots!

A celebration of Mark’s life will take place at Calvary Memorial United Church, 91 Gruhn St., Kitchener, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
