Obituary of Deb Baar

In my own words,

For the forty-four wonderful years spent with my loving and adoring husband (A.G.) Sandy McLellan, who has been my steadfast partner and beloved companion.

I treasure a lifetime of loving relationships with many supportive friends and extended family. Among them my sister, Miriam Bush (YHNI), holds a special place in my heart – we share a bond that is everlasting and precious.

For my profession: I have enjoyed a rewarding and meaningful career as a psychologist in collaboration with my long-time partner, Dr. Robert Doering.

I appreciate the years spent playing golf, tennis, enjoying winter getaways and many shared travel adventures.

For the joy and laughter brought into my life by the love of three beautiful, albeit mischievous, Airedales.

My deep connection to the natural world has been a source of inspiration and peace. I am thankful for the love of nature in all its splendor, glory, solace and mystery.

Good friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Deb and her many decades living in Canada. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday November 7, 2025 from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
