Obituary of Donnie Kienapple

Passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025 at the age of 78.

Survived by his daughter Crystal Scharlach (Jason Scharlach). He was a beloved “Grumps” to his grandchildren Piper, Sage, and Nash.

Predeceased by his wife Jean Kienapple (nee Spencer), parents Alfred and Dorothy Kienapple, and his brother Larry.

Donnie loved music, fishing, dogs, and cars. He was his grandkids’ biggest fan and was an expert collector of everything! Donnie will always be remembered for his deep love of music. Somewhere he’s singing and dancing once more.

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Donnie’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. His family will be contacting friends and family for a celebration of life at a later date.
