<h1>Alexander Hergott</h1> 1912 – 2006 On September 4th, 2006, in his 95th year, Alexander E. Hergott of Kitchener, died peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was born January 21, 1912 in Kitchener, Ontario. He died with great dignity, as he lived his life surrounded by love, having waited for the arrival of all of his family to say his goodbyes; his brilliant mind finally let down by his frail body. He is survived by his daughter, Pat Young (David) and by his son, Dr. Paul Hergott (Lynne). He will also be greatly missed by his adoring grandchildren, Lindsay Sukornyk (Chris); Erin Young (Jason Farrell);Jeffrey Hergott; Heather Young and Jessica Hergott and great-granddaughter, Raine Sukornyk. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Ivy Florence (Britton) and his two brothers, Carl and Wilfred. The Hergott family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, for memorial visitation on Monday, September 11, 2006 from 10 to 11 am., followed by the memorial service in the chapel at 11 am. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. As expressions of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, particularly in memory of Mr. Hergott’s wife, Ivy.
