<h1>Raymond "Ray" Haffner</h1> 1930 – 2007 Died on June 7, 2007 of severe head injuries from a fall on June 6, at the age of 76 years. Loving husband of Evelyn (nee Hergott) for 50 years. Devoted father of Gary (Kelly), Sue Gatcke (Paul) and Brian (Patti). Grandfather of Tiffany and Cameron Haffner, Tyler Gatcke, Trina Bueckert (Anthony) and Krista, Nicole and Robbie Haffner; great-grandfather of Jacob Haffner and Mea Bueckert. Lovingly remembered by his brothers Claude (Monica), Lloyd (Celeste) and Bill (Mary); sisters, Dorothy Meyer and Diane McAllister (Bob); and brother-in-law, Harold Esbaugh. Predeceased by his parents, George and Bernadette Haffner; sister, Audrey Esbaugh; and infant sister Carol Ann. Ray was a carpenter for 64 years and a building contractor for 40 years (Ray Haffner Construction Ltd.) He was a member of the Waterloo Rod and Gun Club and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed his cottage on Conestoga Lake, and in his spare time was also an antique car buff. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ray with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with Parish Prayers Sunday at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes R.C. Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 11 a.m., the Rev. Piotr Machnacki as celebrant. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. Following the reception interment will take place in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
