<h1>Betsy "Betty" Lanktree</h1> 1929 – 2009 Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Survived by her brothers Ian Sinclair and his wife Frances of Rhode Island, USA, and Douglas Sinclair and his wife Mary of Dundee Scotland as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Desmond (1975). Betty was the Librarian at St. Jerome’s University, University of Waterloo, for many years before her retirement. A service of committal will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo, on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 1:30 pm. In Lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre may be arranged through the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, at www.erbgood.com or 519.745.8445.
