<h1>Earlmont Poth</h1> 1922 – 2007 Earl passed away peacefully at the Maples Nursing Home, Tavistock, on Sunday, July 15, 2007, after a lengthy illness, at age 85. Dearly loved father of Connie and Ken Dietrich of St. Agatha and Nancy and Rob Becker of Durham; loving grandfather to Craig and Terri Dietrich and Jamie, Josie, and Justin Becker; brother of Ken and Ida Poth of New Dundee. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Elsie Poth, a brother, Robert, a sister and brother-in-law, Muriel and Glen Dilworth, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Poth. Also predeceased by Gert Poth. During the Second World War, Earl served in the Black Watch Regiment. He also had many hobbies including bird watching, stamp collecting, listening to Big Band music, and the Wurlitzer organ. Friends are invited to share their memories of Earl with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. There will be a graveside committal service held at New Dundee Union Cemetery at 1:30 on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. A reception will then be held in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
