<h1>Rose Chef</h1> 1911 - 2007 After a brief illness at St. Mary’s Hospital on Wednesday January 24, 2007 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late George Chef (1992). Most beloved mother of Rose Besler and her husband Walter of Waterloo, and Mary Amyotte of Windsor. Dearest grandmother to Tom Amyotte, Peter Besler and his wife Zheng, David Amyotte and his wife Cheryl. Greatest great grandmother of Jessica and Adam Amyotte. Dearest aunt to Maria Tinnes and her family. A second “mom” to friends Adolf and Ella Kump. Survived by several nieces and nephews in Germany. Predeceased by her parents Georg and Rosina Steger; a daughter in infancy; by one brother, and by two sisters. Rose was born on August 19, 1911 in Oberneudorf Transylvania, during the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Friends are invited to share their memories of Rose with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Saturday January 27, 2007 from 1-2 p.m., with the funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. David Malina officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery. Reception will follow in the Historic Kuntz House.
