<h1>William Lowes</h1> 1917 – 2007 Passed away peacefully, with his family at his side at Lanark Heights Nursing Home on Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Shaw) with whom he shared the past 72 years. Loving father of June Lock of Kitchener. Proud and loving grandfather of David Lock (Jamie), John Lock (Evelyn), and Lynn Pierce (Don) and great-grandfather of Bradley, Vanessa, Steve, Ryan, Paisley, and Ty. William was predeceased by his daughter, Sheila; son-in-law, Arthur Lock; brothers, George and Jack and sisters, Maggie, Florrie, Nan and Bella. Prior to retirement, William was a dedicated employee of the Waterloo District School Board for 23 years. He also worked for both Boehmer Box as well as BF Goodrich. He was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530 Waterloo. Friends are invited to share their memories of William with his family at the Erb &amp; Good family Funeral Home 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday, August 17 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. where a Legion service will be conducted at 7:30 pm. A memorial service to honour and celebrate William’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 3 p.m. A reception will follow in the funeral home’s Historic Kuntz House.
