To the Boldt family,
This is being written with tears in my eyes. It is with a very heavy heart that I was told of Bryan's passing yesterday. He was my very best friend for decades. As a young man, Bryan was a gifted and naturally charismatic leader. I really didn't enjoy golf very much but I played it anyway just so I could be in his company. We shared countless rounds of golf and then a pizza. He drove the blue mustang . . . it was pretty cool. He had an irrepressible and positive attitude about life. I think that is what made him attractive to so many. When you were around Bryan, anything and everything seemed possible.
The world seems upside down and backwards when children precede their parents, but that was God's plan in Bryan's life. We don't see the wisdom of that . . . just yet. One day soon we will see clearly and understand. We absolutely will see each other again. We will receive immortal and new spiritual bodies. That is God's promise and he cannot lie.
Bryan's earthly body is no longer viable but his soul lives forever. One day there will be no more tears, pain, sorrow or death (Rev 21:4).
I know Bryan had, and still has, a very high view of the Bible and God. We'll be reacquainted with him in the next world. He is now safe in Jesus' arms. He is sorely missed by those who knew him.
May God comfort you all in your time of sorrow. We grieve together.
