Dear Aunt Phyllis, Cousins Carol and David, and family,
Please accept my heart felt condolence for the loss of Uncle Stan. During my short visit this summer, he seemed so alert, interested, and attentive. Some of my earliest childhood memories are associated with his presence at Christmas and during family gatherings during the summer. I have a strong recollection of being in the kitchen of his Walkerton restaurant. That was a long time ago, now.
Speaking with Mom this weekend I sensed how much she has been affected by the loss of her older brother.
Although, I now live far away in Australia, I am also sending Jake and Katie’s sympathy with his passing and our kindest regards.

Please accept my condolences, Phyllis and family.
I am the daughter of Betty and George Fischer, who always spoke so highly of Phyllis and Stan. My mom would always have some fun stories to share of her times with you at Cameron Heights.
Unfortunately my dad died in 2015 and my mother recently, July of this year. I would know that they would want me to reach out and convey our sympathies.
Most sincerely,
Linda

Uncle Stan you were such a part of my childhood. Memories of time spent in Walkerton at the restaurant and house where playtime with cousins were so much fun though I am sure David and Carol did not always appreciate having to keep an eye on their younger cousins! Christmas in Hanover with everyone, Easter egg hunts inWalkerton, New Year’s Day on Princess St. In Waterloo and of course when you lived with us on Euclid are all part of my memories of you. I saw less of you once I got married and moved away but whenever I got home and saw you there was always a big hug waiting for me. Simply put I loved you!To my cousins you have my heartfelt sympathy and you and your families are in my prayers.

Vicki and I pass along our deepest condolences to all the family. Both Vicki and I have very fond memories of Uncle Stan and the Southampton cottage where we played a lot of cards with three nickels, an honour and a knock ( 21-31 ).
I would also like to add that Vicki's mom thought Uncle Stan was the best boss ever.
Our thoughts are with you.

Thinking of you all as we add our heartfelt condolences. Uncle Stan will always have a special place in our hearts. We have so many good memories-as kids eating at Stans restaurant & being able to order anything on the menu. Christmas with everyone at Grandma & Grandpa's. Uncle Stan living with us for awhile in Waterloo till he found a home there for your family. The MANY weekends I stayed at your house on Princess St when Nancy & I had confirmation class & my parents were at their cottage. And then when Rob came into the family Uncle Stan accepted him as part of the family. Rob & I spent many times at the house on Elgin Cr enjoying time with Nancy & by extension visiting with Aunt Phyllis & Uncle Stan. After we moved North, they would come to visit us for a lunch which included mom & dad. And later when he was uncomfortable driving, Carol & Paul would bring them so we could still visit. Celebrating your parents many anniversaries & birthdays when we got to reconnect with you all.
We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
Love Rob & Deb
