1932 – 2022

Ken passed away at Columbia Forest Long Term Care in Waterloo on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the age of 90.

Ken was predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Millie (2015). Dear father of Cathy Wannamaker (Kirk) of Elmira, Don Burn (Joanne Williams) of Waterloo, Nancy Schwindt (Randy) of Maryhill, and Colleen Burn (Bill March) of Carp. Proud grandfather of Melanie (Hayward), Alan, Jillian (Derek), Vicki, Amanda (Victor), Amy (Rain), Matthew, Jane, and Alice and great-grandfather of McKinley, Jaxon, and Addilyn. Remembered by his sisters Eleanor Case and Jean Carboneau (Cliff) and sister-in-law Dorothy Layland.

Predeceased by his sister Shirley Hussack and his brother Ron Burn.

Ken taught high school from 1960 to 1987 in Peterborough and Baden and enjoyed gardening, photography, and sailing. Ken and Millie enjoyed many adventurous trips during their retirement.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Please respect the family’s wishes and wear a face mask. The service will be live-streamed and a link will be available at the top of Ken’s obituary page at www.erbgood.com.  A reception will immediately follow the funeral service in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. A private interment will follow.
