Obituary of Erna Dorothea Heffner

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 14, 2022 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, at the age of 83.  

Erna will be greatly missed by her husband Frank Heffner, her beloved son Mark Heffner, her siblings Manfred Dondrup, Ulrike Dondrup, Horst Dondrup, her sister-in-laws Marga Dondrup, and Christina Doerner (Brent), and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her parents, and 1 brother Peter Dondrup.

She was an excellent homemaker, cook, gardener, and mother who always made people feel welcome in her home, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street, S., Waterloo on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm with funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., with Father Pawel Jamroz officiating.

Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
