Obituary of Ernesto Dos Santos

Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday January 25, 2023, at the age of 96.  Beloved husband of the late Francisca Dos Santos (2010).  

Loving father of Lucinda.  Adored by his grandchildren, Michelle, Mark (Lana), and Matthew, and great-grandchildren, Rachel and Alex.  Dear brother to Olivia Penelas and Mario Santos, both deceased.  Ernesto will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law and friend, Maria Odete Santos, his niece, Elizabeth Cerqueira (Joe) and nephews, Americo Santos (Amanda), Victor Penelas (Elisa); brother-in-law and good friend, Silvino Mouco, his niece Lucinda (Lee), and nephew, Fernando Mouco (Maria), and all their children and grandchildren. The Voisin family is greatly saddened by his loss.

The family wishes to thank the staff, care workers, nurses and residents of Highland Place/Oxford Living for their excellent care and friendship. As well as the ER and 7th floor doctors and nurses of St. Mary’s Hospital for their excellent care and support.  

Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories of Ernesto at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 4 - 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
