Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Helen (nee Cormack) McCulloch, her sister Mary Burnett, brother Andrew McCulloch, and niece Susan’s husband Iain Menzies.
Helen was a kind and gentle soul who was always thankful for anything anyone did for her. She loved her God, her family and her friends and contributed much over the years to her church, leading Bible studies and prayer groups. She spent her career as a science teacher in Scotland, Canada and Florida, returning to Canada to live in Kitchener after retirement. All through her life, she established many deep and long-lasting friendships, including with the students that she taught who also loved her and continued to be in touch with her throughout their lives.
Special thanks to her faithful friend Marilyn McCuaig and the nursing, personal care and recreation staff at the Village of Winston Park whose loving care meant so much to her in the final years of her life. Thank you all for caring for her like she was your own family – we know she cherished each one of you and loved you all.
