Stuart was my advisor from Assante, and through many years of meeting for coffee to discuss investments and life events, I came to know him as a trusted, kind, and good person, who loved his family and to help, whether through his work or projects. HIs enthusiasm and ever-present smile always shone through. I'm so sorry for his loss, I will remember him very fondly.

To Barb and the entire family,
I just found out about Stuart's passing and was so saddened to hear this news.
Stuart and I were part of the youth group growing up at First Baptist Church in Waterloo. I have many memories including dinners together, attending youth events, and time together at college. I will always remember his sense of humour, love for God, and his wisdom and perspective on life. I was honoured to be a guest at your wedding as well.
Although words seem so inadequate, I pray that God's peace and comfort be yours during this very difficult time.

We are so grateful to have had Stuart as our teacher and small group leader for many years. His wisdom, knowledge and humour was greatly appreciated by both of us.
Love to you all, we are so sorry for this huge loss.

Barb and family,
I am so sorry for your loss, the community's loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Stuart was such an amazing presence, so wonderful and kind. His smile, so warm, and would always make me smile. Stuart is a big part of my early spiritual journey and my first mission trip to Ecuador - both of you are, Barb. I feel very blessed to have known Stuart.
May you find comfort in the many memories you have of/with Stuart. One comes to mind and brings a smile - visions of Stuart attempting to stop a flying drone with his hand in Quito, first aid was applied!
Sending love,
Shelley Luft

To the Bennett Family - I had the pleasure of being a client and friend of Stuart for many years. He was instrumental in helping me organize my future, not just on a financial level, but also on a personal level. He always gave me extra time in our meetings whether it be me stopping by the office, out for lunch, or stopping by my home. I can't say enough about how great of a man he was. He always spoke about his family in the most loving way. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

It is with deep respect and sadness that we write this letter. I truly thought Stuart would beat the disease because of his positive attitude. He was like a reliable family member in our lives and the lives of our family. He had a huge positive influence on all of us. He did many things that was not in his job description but was done out of kindness. For that I am truly grateful. He was an outstanding financial planner who we trusted with our life savings. His kind, caring and ALTRUISTIC character showed us how to go far beyond what is expected of us to help others.
We enjoyed our many breakfast meetings and dinners with him and Barb. We thought we solved the world's problems. We will miss him very much as he was truly a important part of our lives.
"Some people come into your life and quickly go, others leave a footprint on your heart and you are never the same." Stuart was the latter.

To Barb, Stephen, Rachel and Alex, and Sarah and Stuart's extended family - so many memories with Stuart in them - family camp, church fun, Ecuador, working together at Equion and, of course, the great care he took with Francie and Jack/Edna as their Financial Advisor. He touched all our lives and we're thankful. Wishing we could be with you to express our love and condolences in person but we're in Portugal. Please know you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Much love - Glenn & Paula
