Obituary of Dieter Brandt

Dieter passed away on August 24, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.

Dieter is survived by his mother Ingeborg Brandt (Kitchener), and his siblings, Gerhard Brandt (Blackfalds, Alberta), Eva Dippel (Kitchener), Michael Brandt (Cambridge), Reynold Brandt (wife Lori) (Wroxeter), Deborah Brandt (Stratford), and Abbigail Salan (North Bay).

Predeceased by his father Kurt Brandt and brother Timothy.

Will be missed by his 12 nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Dieter had a real love for nature and the outdoors which will always stand as testament as they are reflected in his artwork and paintings.

The family would like to express our gratitude to the staff of Grand River Hospital, both KW Campus and Freeport Campus, for their compassionate care for Dieter during his challenging last days.
