John “Gordon” Ross
June 27, 1946 – October 28, 2024
Passed away very unexpectedly at Grand River Hospital on Monday October 28th, 2024.
Survived by his daughters Jolene, Andrea and Toni (Nick) and close family friend, Kevin. A proud Grandfather to Alyssa, Ryan, Dylan and Logan.
Predeceased by his parents Dr. John Gordon Ross and Sarah Margaret Ross as well as his younger sister, Jane Ross.
Gordon was a well-respected member of the legal and real estate community serving as a Lawyer for many decades in the KW Region. The compassion and generosity he showed to his clients and friends will never be forgotten. Gord had many hobbies including hunting and fishing as well as being collector, a train enthusiast but also a serious threat on the golf course.
His quick wit and dry sense of humour was appreciated most on the greens and the many hunting trips taken over the years with the guys. He could also easily be found enjoying his time with great friends over a delicious meal and a nice bottle of wine.
Special thanks to all that have reached out. Ellen, you were such a great friend, and we are so grateful our father had you in his life. The Breadner family, thank you for your help during this difficult time, words cannot express how appreciative we are. To all the warriors in the ER department at Grand River Hospital, Thank you for your extreme efforts, kindness and professionalism.
