Obituary of Gary Raymond Moore

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14^th, 2025 at Grand River Hospital in his 80^th year.

Gary will be deeply missed by his loving wife Claire, his children Shannon (Bob), Tania (Eric), Carole (the late Graham), Rachelle (Cam) and Donald (Joyce).

Adored grandpa of Skylar, Jade, the late Bryson, Braeden, Todd, Owen, Jayden, Shaelyn, Morgan, Tessa, Aiden, Veronica.

Loving great grandpa of Ava, Benedict and Maxwell.

Beloved son of the late Raymond and Luella. Brother to the late Ron and Ursula, and Richard (Jan). Gary was the loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, and a friend to hundreds.

Gary was the life of the party, a bright light in every room he entered. He will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Kind, generous and witty, Gary’s heart was as pure as gold. He was loving, friendly, strong and resilient, embodying the best qualities of a true friend and family member. Always genuine, Gary was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His warmth, compassion, and selflessness left a lasting mark on everyone he met, and his memory will forever live on in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, January 24^th from 2-4 and 7-9pm.  The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, January 25^th at 11am followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room.
