We have been so fortunate to have had Joan as a neighbour. If she saw that you needed anything, she was right there without you even having to ask. in the summer, she worked long hours in her gardens, which were really beautiful. Since Joan was always working outside in good weather, we got to know her quickly. Besides outdoor conversations, our very friendly street had many get-togethers, sharing food and laughs. Joan was a big part of this. She will be very sorrily missed in our tight, little, friendly pocket of Tennyson Place. All our deepest sympathy to Bruce and family.
